Technology Assistance

The Instructional Technology Lab (ITL) has both PC and Mac stations with various tools and software available for your use. ITL staff are available to offer hands-on guidance as you develop dynamic content for your course. Stop by during open lab hours or make an appointment for an individual consultation.

Supported Equipment and Software

Document and slide scanning equipment is available to digitize your course materials during open lab hours or by appointment.

Graphic design and video editing equipment and software is available for you to create dynamic course materials.

iSpring Pro software is available to convert your narrated PowerPoint slideshows to interactive presentations in HTML5 and flash formats for better web delivery. Converted files can be viewed on all mobile devices.

Microsoft Office Suite software is available during open lab hours or by appointment. Supported applications include Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, and OneNote.

Wacom Interactive Pen Display offers a digital drawing experience that allows you to create dynamic course materials directly on a 24" high-definition, multi-touch LCD display. 

The ITL is also available to assist with the Blackboard Course Management SystemAudience Response SystemSAS software distribution and installation, as well as with creating online lectures.

Record & Collaborate

recording facility is available for you to create online lectures or videos for your course. The room is equipped with video and audio recording capabilities for individuals or small groups.

Two multi purpose collaborative spaces are available for GW faculty and staff members to reserve for small groups of six to eight people. Rooms are equipped with the latest technology to support seamless sharing and communication.
